Welcome to FYA Counselling

Finding Yourself Again

Welcome and thank you for visiting FYA Counselling. We recognise that everyone is different, and they are treated as such. Working in a way that suits you and your needs, we will use an approach that is best suited to you as an individual. This may involve exploring past experiences, behaviours, and thought processes while looking at your mental health. We will work together to develop strategies that will allow you to move forward from issues that may be affecting you.

About Me

Here at FYA Counselling our counsellor is trained as an Integrative therapist, they draw on a variety of theories to provide a personalised approach tailored to unique needs and circumstances. We believe the relationship between us to be the most important element in providing support in times of distress. For this reason, it is essential for us to create a warm and respectful relationship between us.

If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma and are ready to take the first step, we encourage you to reach out and schedule a session. We help people connect to their true selves, challenge limiting beliefs, and change their lives for better. If you are feeling lost, stuck, or unfulfilled, we know what it is like. We’ve been there too. We are passionate about helping people find their own way. Counselling can help connect to emotions, needs, and values, challenge negative thoughts and beliefs, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and create a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

What issues can counselling help with?

Counselling is a safe space in which one can talk to a trained therapist or counselor without judgment. You can talk one-on-one with your therapist, and Counselling can help you understand and manage your emotions such as anger or low self-esteem. It can help cope with difficult life events, such as bereavement, relationship breakdown, or work-related stress.

Counselling can help improve self-esteem and increase self-acceptance and self-esteem. Furthermore, Counselling can help to explore options and develop strategies to address these problems.
